Inspired by Al Pittman’s ‘Dance of the Mayflies’, each dance is here and is at once gone again.
This year we encouraged artists to approach the project through the lens of ‘place’. Kitchen dances, dances couched in historic sites, dances celebrating backyards, and sidewalks. Each solo is unique and every solo tells a story.
Our solos are released via Instagram and YouTube each weekday starting Monday, October 4th, 2021.
